About the KDTC

The Killingworth Democratic Town Committee invites town Democrats (and unaffiliated voters) to join us in supporting Killingworth through participation on boards, commissions, and as candidates for local offices. In small towns like ours, grass roots democracy is most clearly seen and felt. Local officials are well-known residents and the work of boards and commissions directly relates to the quality of everyday life in Killingworth. There are genuine opportunities to make a difference right here in our own backyards.

We welcome attendance at our Town Committee meetings, which are open to the public. The committee serves as an advocate for democratic principles, a source of information about town issues, and a place for future candidates to seek support. Meetings are usually held on the first Thursday of the month at 7:00 pm.

Caucuses for specific purposes are announced through legal notices as required by law and may be held on weekdays and at other locations (caucuses are only open to registered Democrats).

KDTC needs your help and support! Keep an eye on our website or follow us on social media to learn more about events, fundraisers for candidates and other ways to show your support.
