Candidate for Planning and Zoning | 2025
Hi, I’m Lisa D’Angelo. I’ve lived in Killingworth since 2008, drawn here by the peaceful setting, the space, and the strong sense of community. Like so many of you, I value the rural character that makes our town so special.
In my day job, I work as Associate Provost for Research at Yale University, where I help support big-picture planning and problem-solving. I’m running for a seat on the Planning & Zoning Commission because I believe thoughtful planning today shapes what our town will look and feel like for years to come.
I care deeply about keeping Killingworth’s quiet, small-town feel — but I also know we face real challenges. Things like affordable housing and more options for senior living are important, and we need to find the right balance as we plan for the future.
I’m excited to bring my experience and perspective to the table, and to listen and learn from residents along the way. I’d be honored to have your support.
