Candidate for Planning and Zoning (alt) | 2025
I am Stephanie Warren a candidate for the Killingworth Planning and Zoning Commission, as an alternate member. I have served the town in several positions that have prepared me well for this office.
I sat on the Killingworth Planning and Zoning Commission from 2013 to 2017, was on the Zoning Board of Appeals after that. Next, I was again elected to the Killingworth P&Z Commission and am completing my second term.
My work on P&Z included spear-heading the survey of Killingworth residents that was done for the revision of the Killingworth Town 2017 Plan of Conservation and Development. I was responsible for content analysis and statistical compilation of the responses from that survey that forms the basis of the 2017 Plan of Conservation and Development
I have also served on Killingworth’s Conservation Commission since 2001— eight years, as its secretary, and am currently the Chairperson for the Killingworth Conservation Commission.
I moved to Killingworth over twenty-five years ago, attracted by its rural nature and the friendly and positive feel of the community. I would like to continue serving the town by protecting these special qualities, while also helping our town grow in meaningful ways. Please give me your support in this year’s election.
