William Tobelman

Candidate for Planning and Zoning | 2021

Hello, my name is William Tobelman. My wife and I have been residents of Killingworth for 29 years and have raised our two sons here. They have benefitted from our fine school system and we have all enjoyed living in this beautiful New England setting.

Growing up just barely on the Clinton side of the Clinton/Killingworth town line allowed me to spend much of my youth in town. Some friends joined me in grades 9-12 because during most of the 1970s students from Killingworth attended Morgan High School in Clinton. My roots in Killingworth go way back.

I have a bachelor’s degree in sociology from American International College, in Springfield, Massachusetts. I worked for 27 years in production and warehousing for a medical manufacturer. Since then I have become more involved in town issues and think one of the most important is our plan for the future.

I would like to help the Planning and Zoning Commission maintain Killingworth’s identity while recognizing future needs and growth. Please consider voting for me as well as the entire Democratic slate. We have a slate of candidates with very impressive records, a slate I am happy to learn from and join in service to our community. I am open and direct in my opinions and will listen to yours as well. Thank you.
